What is Cellulite?

Cellulite is a condition that might occur in overweight people, who inherited the trait or depending on hormones levels, gender and age. It can be seen everywhere, but more commonly in thighs and buttocks.

The superficial layers of fat press against the lower layers of skin causing dimples.

How do we treat it?

At Cosmos Clinic we use two types of treatment:

  1. Harvest PRP: a concentration of platelets is obtained from your own blood and reinfected into the affected areas. They help tightening the skin and preventing the dimpling effect.
  2. VaserSmooth treatment: this minimally invasive procedure offers dramatic and long lasting improvements, reducing cellulite by up to 80%. It is performed through an ultrasound probe which melts the fat and tightens the skin.

How much does it cost?

The initial consultation costs between $120 – $150. This cost is included in the procedure if you choose to go ahead. The Harvest PRP starts from $1,200 and the VaserSmooth treatment starts from $3,300.
